People suck The next day, Sales said he learned from a friend that a woman had shown up to the Lowe’s demanding to know whether the store had punished him for the shirt
The teen, who recently graduated high school, said he started working at Lowe’s several months ago to make money before attending Washington State University in the fall. Sales said what happened at Lowe’s triggered painful memories from high school and his previous job. “Kids calling you the N-word,” said Sales, recalling his high school experience. “At my last job, my manager actually called me a colored boy.” wow...
Companies having policies against political speech and wardrobe is sensible. Don't know if that's the case here or if it's just a manager being difficult.
I know about working at Lowe's. The CEO is black There is no dress code but they probably do assume a tee shirt is covered by their vest which what employees wear Edit: its retail I should know but I'm sure I saw a boiler plate no offensive and political message rule
Black Panther is a superhero movie. Wakanda is fictional. Neither are political. I do not see the difference between wearing that t-shirt and one with Batman, Avengers, Deadpool, etc.
