He is definitely inspiring. The guy touches everything he wants, just doesn't care what the fudge people think of him, and works like he's on a mission.

Comprehension fail, Kanye didn't write it like that, it's a transcript.

Honestly I don't see him being in another level, he's a cool dude though, power to him.

He is motivated and works harder than most of us here, but I don't like him. I like his flow though.

No he isn't. I think most people realize that the educational system in America is self-serving. Meant to indoctrinate the values of the masses. As far as revamping schools to allow you to major in something from grammar school, I think that's pretty extreme, but I do believe that colleges make billions of dollars and require you to spend far more time in college getting master's and doctorates when many degrees can be whittled down to just the basics and not waste time on general education classes that don't matter.

Memorization learning is also being challenged by schools that go over far less material, but require the students to come to their own conclusions. It's pretty safe to say that the school system today will change drastically in the next 10-20 years.

If you're the right kind of parents in the nice part of a near suburb, public school is the sweetest deal there is. Especially with fully-wired public library networks, and a halfway decent computer science curriculum; smart motivated kids whatever their background can pretty much learn and accomplish anything. And a good AP/IB program can stratify and separate a large, crummy campus as well as is needed.

I'm not sure I have a problem forcing young adults to read, research and articulate diverse ideas as often as possible before sixty years of non-stop Sportscenter, viral videos and CGI/comic book movies.

College isn't as costly as the "college life" that teenagers got mesmerized by from the sixties onward. And somehow that morphed from a fairly spartan, drunken year-round summer camp to sports bars, multi-million dollar stadiums, A-list stand-up acts at the student union and hi-rise condos with campus wide wi-fi and digital cable in every room.
