no more 30 min for Howard, no more playing time for Padgett

VSpan in, for the secure win

the time he played made a huge difference

I said give that little conservative mind a little time. You folks kept crying. You think JVG is just a tool, does whatever you ask him to do? ;)

I don't think he realized anything. He just put Vspan in because Kirk broke his hand.

Oh well. Get well soon Kirk

He got no choice. Synder broke his hand. There are no more players on the bench except VSpan, Novak, etc.

Once V-Span got into the game, the Rockets quickly took the lead back up to 9 points.

    Maybe you are onto something.

V-Spans energy did wear down the knicks scorers and their effectiveness.

So JVG was sitting there peeing his pants saying to himself " Oh **** I've gotta play Spanoulis! There goes my job!" ???

But Billy did alright. Snyder's +/- and Roland rating aren't that great so now is Bill's chance to shine.

Now if Hayes can come back later this week....

    Bonzi soon after that???

    Whoohoo!

    he probably did, and should

he does not have the court vision we have

we see the real padgett, we feel the age howard is running up and down the court

JVG does not have those senses, he is just a robot filled with some kind of fluids

He still didn't play JLIII. JLIII was tearing it up this summer and he gets no minutes. This was his perfect chance to match JLIII against Nate Robinson. They are pretty close in height.

Didn't Padgett play tonight and hit at least 2 3 pointers?
In fact, if I remember correctly, about 5'30 left in 3Q, Padgett came in for Yao, and both he and Juwan were on court!

I like Padgett playing max 10 min, the same goes for Howard

From pre season, JLIII is a scoring minded PG without much defense. That's not what Rockets really wanted. I'd take Vspan's energy and defense any day.

Those 10 min should go to Novak instead and I hope it doesn't take an injury to Padgett to make it happen.

JLIII is like a worse version of rafer... We don't need him

rafer is also more efficient if restrict his mins to under 35 or 40,
so to yao and t-mac, that's why we collapsed in 4th QT

V-Span actually made a few bad passes
when he got on the court, i guess that's
why JVG doesn't play him big mins

If Vspan proves himself servicable during this period, he will earn play time. Maybe Kirk will rot on the bench then. JVG is never comfortable playing more than 8 players.
