JVG at Rice Baseball game

    Saw JVG yesterday at the Rice Baseball game; the Orlanda/Cavs game was on at the time too. Surprised he didn't want to watch it.

    So funny story: One of my friends was getting up to leave and we're sitting towards the left of JVG....this fool goes "OMG ITS STAN VAN GUNDY! STAN IS HERE....What's up STAN!!!!!" SUPER loud! LOL.....then I go, "OMG That's JEFF YOU IDIOT...Sorry Jeff!"

    I also got Jeff to sign a baseball we caught from a foul ball and told him I liked him as our head coach when he was in Houston. He nodded and said thanks

    Weird, I was at the game too and sitting on the first base side and I didnt hear anyone shout that out. =\

    he is always at those games. It is within walking distance for him and he loves baseball. This is the guy who took the entire team to see the astros play.

    I was at the game, as well. I walked out with JVG. He's been at a lot of Rice games. He lives down at the corner of University and Buffalo Speedway, about a mile's walk (and yes, he does walk)

    He bought the cheapest seats in the park, fyi.

    my season tickets are the premium seats in the stadium, not the cheap seats where former Rockets coaches sit
