any new info on communications and how the new coach has gone about making relations with his players? any calls to franchise or mobley etc.....
I don't know about that but JVG has been VERY praising of Yao, Steve and Mobley in every interview he is talking like they are THE BIG THREE Rocket River
C'mon, you give him too much credit. Actually alot of people around the league think Cat is a very explosive offensive weapon and JVG probably is one of those. So he probably sees him as an important part of the team. The problem with Cat is he needs to be part of a team where he is one of th main focal points because he is such a 1 on 1 player and he needs the ball to be effective. The problem is when he is doing his one on one stuff the rest of the team seems to stand around... and now he is the third option who wants to be more and is having a hard time adjusting. So when does do his thing it is ususlly out of the flow of the offense and detrimental to the team. JVG may also realize Cat is still considered one of the leaders on this team and is being a bit diplomatic.
Don't give up on Cat just yet. It will be interesting to see how he adjusts to JVG. Hopefully some discipline will do him good.
