Asked what he was thinking about right now. the future or the 6 straight losses. He was more concentrated on the 6 straight losses. Talked about another option on offense. (himself)

Asked about the charlotte game and OT. very dissappointing to come out on the losing end of that one. It would have given them more confidence.

No excuses. That is how it is in the league. try to compete every night.

Asked about injuries- Said they have vets that they should be able to win with. Still should be able to close games out.

Asked about frustration of losing as a veteran- said that it is mor dissapointment. As a competitor you have that drive that you want to win and it hurts to lose. Didnt like the words that were said to him by Mike James. Does not want the negative attitude to spread through the team.

Any way to explain 3- 12? Have not played well at home. Dont want to lose the fan base at home. Want to win.

Asked about fab 5. They still keep in contact. they were able to form as a team and win.

talked about some games when he was in college.

Dallas coming in to night. Have to win at home. embarassed about losing at home.

    THE BEEPING was annoying.

That was JVG calling to tell him to get off the phone and get his ass back on the practice court.

Wonder if ZBoy still thinks Juwan is a scrub? Juwan has been the ONLY consistent bright spot since TMac went out.

Anyone who thinks Juwan is a scrub doesn't really know basketball. Yeah, he got that big contract and that was a joke. And yeah, he's not a star rebounder and defender. But this guy is a legit NBA starter and we would've beaten Dallas, at least, if we had him in the playoffs last year.

The same guys who think Juwan sucks probably think Bowen is a great role player just because they see him hustling all of the time. Some people can only see the surface.

Bowen sucks....as soon as we get most of our players back....use him as filler and get his ass of the team.

Good, we'll need his recruiting skills when JRose becomes a free agent so he can sign here for cheap and give us that legit 3rd scoring option, a guy who will torch you playing the SG position if you leave him open (he also loves that mid-range jumper, not many people in the league do).

Perhaps I just need to adjust my definition of "scrub." In my book, scrubs don't average 17/7.

In my book, Moochie Norris is a scrub. Juwon is proven to be 10x better player than Moochie. Therefore, Moochie and Juwon can't be compared. Therefore, Juwon isn't a scrub...in my book.

He's no star ...but he ain't a scrub. Juwon takes a back seat when Yao and TMac are in ...by design... but that doesn't make him a scrub. Without Juwon, we'd have lost every game by 20+ points.

Umm...tinman is right. Juwon is a scrub. Right up there with Scott Padgett, Austin Croshere and Brian Cardinal. Just pull a list of nba 4s. He's not significantly better than Maurice Taylor.

Here's a list from last year. I'm sure you'll find one for this year.

We really need to upgrade that spot. Yao needs help, bigtime.

Juwan has stepped up nicely, but that doesn't excuse him from playing like a scrub back when we had Yao and Tmac relatively healthy. Seems like when he's not the focal point, he can't put the damn ball in the basket. His hot stretch has made it more frustrating because we can clearly see that he still has some skills, yet he couldn't consistently score more than 10 ppg basically as our 3rd option.

The sad thing is that I think we have that third scoring option, but he's injured as well.

JuHo is a good guy, a competent NBAer. I hope he has good trade value for younger and better future by trade deadline.

if Juwon increases his average pts/game, that means Tmac is out and we suck
if Juwon's scoring numbers go down, that means we're healthy and we're winning.
prove me wrong, i know its not possible.

I wouldn't be disappointed with a Juwan for Melvin Ely + picks trade if it were to happen now.

Even if I proved you wrong, what does it prove? Does it prove that every player in the NBA not as good as TMac and Yao are scrubs?

TMac and Yao are our 1st two options. Isn't it obvious that his #s would go down? I don't see your point.

Juwon is what he is ...an adequate role player. Yes, it WOULD be nice to upgrade him but it would also be nice to upgrade every spot that isn't Yao/Tmac.

So back to reality...Juwon is the least of our problems.

we need to look to upgrade. we need to get more athletic, we need shooter and we need better ball handlers.

trade juwan for draft picks/youth. remember the lakers trade vlade divac to get a draft pick..KOBE BRYANT

I thought since Juwan played well last year that his curse was lifted. nope it hasnt.

Juwan had some mysterious heart problem and missed the Mavericks series. this year, his curse spread to Yao's toe.

His stats are up again, and he and Tmac are on the worst team in the NBA and he's on the worst team in the NBA.

Granted, his curse is better than SAR. notice that the Kings have a much greater winning % with SAR out.

    these guys are cursed.
