Did Juwan just develop a move similar to the Dream Shake? Or did he have it in him before? I've seen him using that Juwan-shake at least twice last week. Very impressive. A series of fakes leading to his oppenent flying to one side and himself wide open for an easy basket. Too bad the guy got injured right at the time when he started to flash

Yeah, its not really a dream shake, more of a multiple moves fake. Dream did that too, but I guess the dream shake was technically more of his shoulder quick movement that was so effective that Dream didn't even have to pump the ball to get the defender off balance.

The other thing I've noticed about Juwan is that he must just be really good at getting people to think there is no way in hell he'll actually be scoring. Seriously, he'll get the ball at the top of the key, look for a split second like he may continue passing to the 3 pointer to a Wesley or a Barry, and everyone will just run away from him.

Juwan hs been a solid post player his whole career. He has some excellent moves. The reason that he doesn't showcase them as often is that Yao is the primary post player, so Juwan's role offensively is to knock down the midrange jumper.

He had that move long long before he joined the rox. He is a career 17-7 Power Forward and he is known for his O, not D. The biggest problem for him months ago was the role he should play for the team. He knew this team is about tracy and yao and he was not sure what to do. I guess that's the problem for almost everyone that time. And now he is playing the game in a comfortable way and he is so confident that sometimes he just tries to challenge the opponent directly if he feels good about it. That sure helps release some of the pressure on tracy and yao. but the biggest help from him is those 15-foot open shots. Now i am worried about the portland game. if JH cannot play, maybe jvg will start spoon. But I still wish I can see vin baker playing some minutes. The good news is randolf is done for the season.

In the worse case (of cz I dont like it, but lets just say), jh is out for the season. No way this team can go beyond the 1st round with spoon as the starting pf. Baker looks in good condition on tv so I hope he can bring some surprise if that happens.
