I knew someone was gonna freak out after one game... And I told myself I was going to have to take it easy on them and not flame the #!#%^& out of them because it is only one game. One game out of 82 and you're saying I told you so. I could go on and on and on, but I won't. And don't get me wrong, I was really disappointed with his play tonight; it was horrible, but can we just wait for 10 games before we freak out??
Logic and statistics don't exist in tinman's world. The fact Howard came off the bench is completely ignored in his warped world view.
After not seeing any sense in the first couple of replies I was afraid everyone had lost their minds. Glad ppl are still sane Aside from it being only 1 game...it's also Juwan off the bench. He'll hafta get used to that for sure. He probably thoguht he had the starting job locked down for most of the offseason.
1) It's one game but... 2) I think MoT is better suited to play significant minutes at the PF spot. Although, he's not the greatest defender or rebounder, he's not bad either. He does seem to box out and play hard on defense. On offense he's very capable and is our third best scoring option. He's very effective in the post and has a solid jumpshot.
Look, one or the other of these guys (Juwan or Mo-T) is trade bait. Whether we get anything for either guy is the question; nothing against their talent, mind you, just their price tags. We need to bolster small forward and point guard anyway, and you can bet one of the power forwards not named Clarence Weatherspoon is being dangled for that end.
