We on the verge of completing 1 quarter of the NBA Season. We can dominate the 3 remaining quarters of season if Rockets get their butts in gear. In order to do this we must 1. get rebounds- during the first quarter of this NBA season the Rockets have not been a good rebounding team, even with Yao in games. We have no real legit box out scrapper, nor do we have a person able to punish teams for not boxing out besides Jordan hill. And even then, he really isn't a reliable threat. 2. disallow quality, clutch ft's late in games- our latest games have been lost due to the fact that teams are easily getting to the ft line in meaningful parts of games. We must control the flow of games. We must get a rhyme going late in 3rd and 4th quarters where we have absolutely been destroyed and allowed teams to attack us, and allowed them to get easy 2 points from the ft line night in and night out. 3. USE YOUR BEST SHOOTERS WHEN DOWN IN GAMES!!!! the last 5 games the Rockets have not even looked to Kevin Martin when the game is seriously in reach. We have Kyle Lowry and Courtney Lee taking meaningful shots when that is not these players strong areas. Kevin Martin has absolutely been hopeless, and it's due to COACHING. It has nothing to do with Kevin Martin... Why have Kevin Martin on the weak-side while the rest of the 4 players are on the other side of the court and taking shots. Look at the Suns, Thunder, Spurs, all these games are lost due to our worst shooters getting the rock taking 3's... WHYYYYY? We can totally recover from this nightmare, and it begins with these 3 things in my opinion. Lets dominate the 3 other quarters of the NBA Season... keep your heads up Rockets fans. Or a simpler view We have to win the next 47 games out of 69 games to even get into the playoffs........ That's a .681 record without Yao for 2 more week and AB for 4 weeks.
