in a two on two tournament. with everyone at their prime. 1.yao and mcgrady 2.jordan and pippen 3.hakeem and drexler 4. bryant and o'neal 5. wade and o'neal 6. duncan and ginobli 7. abdul-jabar and johnson 8. pierce and garnett 9. stockton and malone 10. chamberlain and west 11. russell and cousy 12. bird and mchale 13. ewing and starks
LOL Ewing and Starks would lose EVERY GAME!!!!!! They would even lose to the new knicks tandem of Boozer and Joe Johnson
I'd have to go with either Hakeem/Drexler or Kareem/Magic. In a 2v2 situation: Hakeem > Kareem (Kareem was a better scorer but I think Hakeem's defense and speed would be too much for him) Drexler < Magic (Drexler has the speed and can attack the basket but Magic's size would slow Drexler's drives)
You forgot Oscar Robertson and Lew Alcindor. They would have beat Magic and Kareem any day! Because Alcindor would have punked Kareem for going soft lol.
6. duncan and ginobli 8. pierce and garnett 10. chamberlain and west I'd have to say it comes down to these 3. They have the best versatility at both spots. The smaller/outside player has skills both outside and in offensively. Defensively they have a combo of solid speed and size. The post/bigger player is versatile enough to defend further out and in the post. Offensively they have a post game and mid range game/jumper. But that's the most logical guess based on their talents..in reality they are all good enough to take it under the right circumstances. It could depend heavily on the rules. Make-it take-it? Any time limit? Foul limits? Up to how many points? And so on...all that could change who comes out on top.
