    Thursday, April 13th....

Elvis Costello, with the Houston Symphony Orchestra, at Jones Hall.

According to Elvis' official website, the first half of the concert will be Elvis and the Symphony performing his full length orchestral work "Il Sogno", and after intermission, he will return to perform some of his rock and pop hits, some of which will be backed by the Symphony.

Apparently, Elvis is only doing 8 of these shows around the country in March, April and May.

I got seats on the 8th row, center.

Should be a very interesting evening!

    elvis is a great performer

He did an album called the Juliet Letters with the Broadsky Quartet that is very good so I can only imagine a full orchestra

    Should be a great show.

Yes, I love the Juliet Letters record. This was a combination (Elvis C. + Houston Symphony + Jones Hall) that I just couldn't pass up. And it will be great to hear him perform some of his hits backed by an orchestra.
