In case you have hopes that the Rox can get a Badiane to play PF for us, we have another chance. Moussa Badiane, is a 'for real' shot blocking tornado who plays for East Carolina in C-USA. He was just one block away from breaking KMart's C-USA record for shot blocks. Probably already broken the record, and he is only a Junior. He was born in France, not Senegal, and I don't think he is any relation to Malick. Moussa's brother Pape, plays in Europe and I think played for Cleveland State a few years back. http://bonesville.net/Articles/OtherArticles/AP/ECU/Hoops/2004-05/012905_Moussa.htm I am not sure he is a real prospect, but I thought some folks would get a grin from another Badiane post. I didn't really know where to put it, but I figured the unofficial BBS posting POLICE wouldn't find me in here.
Well, Dude. This was posted with tongue-in-cheek. I guess you are a member of that unofficial posting police. It was a joke, Dude.
Ironically, the "posting police" wouldn't have said anything if you had posted it in the GARM or in the College/International section. The very places you thought you'd be scorned.
It is no big deal, and I don't worry about being scorned. It is just some of the people On this BBS remind of the little kid peeking out from behind his big brother, going "nanny, nanny, boo, boo" and " SEE !!! ". I just find it terribly amusing. I know it would been right at home in College/International but then everyone would have thought I was serious. The GARM people are far too serious about their threads. So, I thought maybe just a public discussion about anything would be acceptable, apparently not.
Now that you're in the international hoops forum: Who is this Moussa Badiane???? How can we get hijm on the Rockets???? It would be really good - then we could trade Ming and bring his half-brother back form Germany and have a real BAD front line!!! WOW thanks so much for this information!! I'm really really really excited - I'm going to watch every single game that his team plays to make sure he breaks the record.
