I won't celebrate until they win 1 out of the next 3 games, but a hypothetical. If they manage to shut Yao down with Oden/Aldridge over the next 3 games and rally back, how many would be up for trading the merchandising rights to Yao for a 7 ft plus guy that can't be fronted and completely taken out of the game?

if we blow this series then we need to blow the whole team up. trade yao, t-mac, and brooks. keep scola, landry, lowry, and battier. get a bunch of draft picks and hope for a real franchise star. but only a true choke and epic meltdown would make us lose 3 in a row and i dont see it happening. rockets in 6

That's what I'm saying. All these people accusing me of hating. I didn't post this after a loss where half the board proposes trading everybody on the fkn team. I posted this as a hypothetical after watching an insane amount of choke from our two superstars over the last few years.
And furthermore, it's not like the trade would come back to haunt you when you played against Yao... you could just front him with Chuck Hayes.

so why not state your position in your op? you should've said, if we fail to pass the 1st round, i think yao should be traded. would've been much better and more str8 forward than your "hypothetical" crap.
But it's obvious to had a deeper motive for posting this "hypothetical." Why not just come out and say it instead of trying to disguise it? You referred to Yao as merchandise, so it's obvious you don't think highly of him, whether we win this series or not.
I've watched every single game start to finish the last 4 years and have attended about 40 in that time. I've paid my admission price.
