ok. Where is the best place to park downtown for Jury Duty? I was thinking about parking at my normal work place, and then walking there, it takes about 20 minutes, or 12 minutes, depends on what garage/lot I normally park at. It's the one on Congress I am going too. I looked at the Harris County jurors website, and I didn't see anything about parking other than Metro stuff. Thank you.
Well there's a parking garage right there at the building...I think it's like 5 or 6 dollars for the day. Kind of packed though, but I was able to find a space.
If you're cheap and don't mind a walk, there are several 2 dollar and 1 dollar cash lots near Minute Maid Park. They're on Franklin Street, near 59, about 5 to 7 blocks from the courthouse.
sounds good. my original plan was to park where i normally park for work, and walk, but that would take a long while.
It's all about the Park and Ride, dude. Or you can park at that gigantic garage on Congress and Austin. It's only a few blocks away and it's cheaper than the regular jury duty lot.
Park on the streets dude. Buy a $6.00 all day pass and you can even move for lunch break. Plenty of street parking is available. Better then parking in a garage and waiting like half an hour to get in or out.
