Griffin has a lot of character problems from what I've heard though... starting fights with players, etc. As good of a talent as he may be, we don't need that kind of influence on this team and I doubt Rudy would take him. Imho, Richard Jefferson is perfect for this team. He has the size at 6'8, athletic ability and leaping ability almost like a Shawn Marion, a good defensive game, has championship experience, and seems like a kid with a good sound knowledge of the game and fundamentals. Oh I agree with that, but the chance is probably like .1% that he's on the board at 12 or 13. On talent alone he'll be a top 5 pick I think. Can I get some feedback on why everyone is so high on Zach Randolph? Yeah, he's big. Yeah, he has a nice touch around the basket. But that's all that has impressed me about his game, and I caught a bunch of MSU this year. I like Wright's game (out of AZ) better than Randolph's. By the way, can Randolph get off the ground far enough to slide a credit card beneath his shoes? Is it me, or can this kid not get that big body up in the air? ------------------ There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."
HOOP-T- Well, you probably saw more MSU games than I did and I think Randolph should stay in school for at least another year, probably two. That being said, I think he could be a nice player. Wright may be just a bit too short for PF and not have enough range on his shot for SF. What about Rodney White? He's 6'9 and 230, with a great touch from the outside. He played PF at Charlotte but scouts say he has enough of an outside shot and will probably be an NBA SF. ------------------
There were quite a few questions about Brand, actually. Everyone knew he would be *solid*, but I don't think many thought he would be an all-star. He was considered the "safe-pick," much like K-mart this past year. What about Troy Murphy? He should be around when we pick. I would love to have Brand on the Rox. I'm forced to watch the Bulls sometimes because of geographical location. Although Fizer has come on strong lately, getting Brand is unlikely of course, save a 3-way trade involving our picks. Marc Jackson and Brand at the 5 and 4 would take care of our rebounding problems. ------------------
