Finally some of the critics of Yao are seeing the light, he is a very good basketball player, and this was THE YEAR to win the lottery.

We need to keep that thread about whether people thought Ming was a bust or a legitimate player.

Is there anyone out there still doubting this guy?

    Oielpere, Troy Baros, UTballer etc...etc..

You can jump on the bandwagon, we have plenty of room.

    REM -- Bandwagon

Come on aboard, I promise you you won't hurt the horse
We treat him well, we feed him well.
There's lots of room for you on the bandwagon,
The road may be rough, the weather may forget us
But won't we all parade around and sing our songs,
    a magic kingdom, open-armed

Greet us hello, bravo, name in lights
Passing on the word to fellow passengers and players, passing in,
Until you're tired looking at all the flags
    And all the banners waving
This is some parade, yesiree Bob.
    Could we have known?
Yesiree Bob, could we have known?

Look at all the flags and all the banners waving.
Open up our arms, a magic kingdom, open-armed and greet us all

Come on aboard I promise you you won't hurt the horse
We treat him well, we feed him well
There's lots of room for you on the bandwagon
The road may be rough, the weather may forget us
But won't we all parade around and sing our songs and wave our flags.
A magic kingdom, greet us all hello, greet us hello, greet us hello.

Where is Jeff? I remember him saying it would be funny to keep all the articles on the Ming Bashers and posts from the uninformed BBS Yao-bashers. Sounded like a good idea at the time and especially now that we have some solid, first hand proof.

:D I think some people are going to be wondering why the Rockets bandwagon has two children's faces for wheels.

thx man...that's pretty damn funny. I love Moochie getting larger just as he goes off screen.

It would be some editorial comment to have Dream, #33 or Shandon running after it, trying to jump back on.

This may be one of your better ones. And that is saying alot. I cannot wait to party on Richmond and Westheimer when we win it all again.

Well, I wouldn't say I was ever a doubter, but I did kind of wish we traded for a Vet, I am now more than satisfied with the choice the team made. This game, however, didn't really have all that much to do with it. He had a good game, but it was something that I was already sure that he was capable of.

Man, Way too excited to still be more than a month away from the start of the season.

I admit that he did MUCH better than I thought he would. To be honest this is exactly what I needed to see from Ming. So yeah, I was wrong.......but my original problem was the comparisons that put the guy at the Shaq level before we had even video of Ming. Lets go Rox!!!!

ElGrandeQueso es aqui! I'm not on the bandwagon and until Yao proves himself(never), I won't be! If he actually does show something, I guess you can save some room for me on the caboose. I highly doubt the event though.

Glad to see Ming putting his critics in their place. I was a Ming fan already and he still impressed me. Six blocks versus the US squad is just awesome. These are some of the better players of the NBA, imagine what he could do against some scrubs... What is the highest bpg avg in NBA history? :)

Bandwagon - I got my seat.

rockHEAD - nice pic as usual.

Choo Choo...next stop in a few years..NBA Champs again.
I'm thrilled with what I saw of Yao_Of course the fundamentals are there, but he is athletic too. What impresses me almost as much is his attitude..at ease, one of professionalism...on and off the court. It is a combination of intensity and willingness to learn on the court though, that will make him great.
I wonder who will be thought of as the better player down the road Eddie or Yao?
    Either way,thumbs up!
