In a perfect world such would be the case, unfortunately this is more common than people want to admit! If you are low income and a minority often times you will not get a fair trial. I will say this... I would much rather have someone who at least is transparent on their views than someone who is a wolf in sheep's clothing! At least you know what you are up against..... ....... ....... .......
Judge Edith Jones, who serves on the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and was a Bush-era Supreme Court frontrunner, allegedly made the comment while speaking on the death penalty to The Federalist Society at the University of Pennsylvania in February. The Federalist Society describes itself on its website as "a group of conservatives and libertarians interested in the current state of legal order."
That's what scary to me, she was a skip/hop from being a Supreme Court Justice, and once you get in you are in for life... ....... ....... .......
