Didn't know if this should go in the dish or not since it relates to the rockets.

With all the talk about getting D12 and signing a max player in 2013, the unrestricted free agent options only look to be CP3 and Josh smith. I'm not convinced of CP3's willingness to leave the Clips, but Josh Smith might.

My question I'd this though, I love the idea of Howard and DoMo playing together, especially since DoMo can stretch the floor with his range and speed. But if you acquire Josh Smith would you play him at 3 or 4? Has anyone seen him play at the 3 spot? How do you think a front court of Howard, DoMo, and josh smith would work?

    Depends.

If you put him at SF, you better make sure you have a big man who can shoot from the outside with him in the starting unit.

Could maybe work with Mad Chicken playing as a defensive SG. He played SG a little today.

I know that's what I'm saying. If the only UFA we can get that's worth max money next year is Josh smith, then what do you do with DoMo?

    Could you start them both?

It's been long determined that Josh Smith is not an effective SF. I've been saying for 2 years the Hawks need to decide between him and Horford at PF and trade the other for a PG.

PF, Hakeem gave him enough to become one of the best in the game. He even played some C this season

He can guard pf but he plays like a sf. He likes to take those long set shots that make people scratch their heads.
