This means Kubes has a potential home *if* McNair decides to kick him to the curb. ;)

I hope not.....interim coaches are currently 5-1 this year, so hopefully the Broncos will pick a good one and help push Kubiak out the door.

Excellent. I had an exam this morning and the teacher is an avid McDaniels hater, this should put him in an excellent grading mood.

once you get the "vote of confidence", it's over...

    he's probably a good OC, but he's a horrible HC...just like Pubes...

When they were 6-0 last year, I thought it was luck (not just the Cincy game). What a spectacular crash-down from the fast start.

How bad was this hire? A rookie head coach that runs your Pro Bowl QB and WR out of town. He also traded Peyton Hillis for Brady Quinn.

I wasn't sold on Jay Cutler back then, and I'm still not sold on him but running both him and Marshall out of town is a no no. Then drafting Tim Tebow in the first round when the defense was as bad as it was? And Peyton Hillis was the cherry on top considering they had no run game whatsoever. Well deserved firing.

    Yup.

    Cutler
    Marshall
    Hillis for Quin
    Tebow
Maybe not a real fault against him by Thomas over Dez Bryant?!
<aybe not a real fault but Scheffler also traded
Alphonso Smith - Broncos took him in 2nd round(37th overall) in 2009. They traded their 2010 first round pick to get him(Seattle took Earl Thomas with the this pick). September 4th, 2010, Smith was traded to Detroit for Dan Gronkowski

Crap I am 10-3 in my keeper league and I have Orton as my primary starting QB, I am stashing a developmental player in Bradford....but I may have to start him, and lose his rights....dang it. dang it dang it.

It's because he's a Chiefs fans. Now Bowlen will get someone much more competent. McHoodie was such a spectacularly bad coaching hire. If only Kubes wasn't so mediocre, he might've been fired long ago.

NFL folks still don't get the fact that all the Belichick assistants are just placeholders in New England. You could put a cardboard cutout for a coordinator and it won't make a difference. Belichick is the brains behind everything. Doesn't matter who the coordinators are. Mangini, Weis, Crennel, and now McDaniels are just that, assistant coaches some fool GM hired thinking some of that Belichick stuff would rub off on their team. The only legit Belichick pupil is Saban the other half of the this two-headed Croatian coaching monster.

The lesson here is you get the Patriots GMs, i.e. Scott Pioli.

Kubiak is reportedly Denver's first choice/is who they want if/when he becomes available.
