I feel sorry for Dirk. Had Cuban just paid Nash instead of throwing the money at Dampier of all people, I am pretty sure Dirk would have a ring by now. Instead, he is stuck with this moron Howard and a team that - imho - has no shot at the title.

No offense taken . I can't hate the Mavs, though. The Jazz...yes, especially as long as Carlos Boozer plays there...scratch that...the Jazz always, if only because of the history with Karla Malone. The Mavs? Not really, wouldn't know why.

Mavs fans must be pissed about the Mavs front office backing Howard after the pot-smoking antics... and now this. His trade value? Dropping like a stone.
I cant hate on the Mavs anymore. They been through enough IMO. I especially hated it when all those cocky Mavs fans used to rub it in our face when we were struggling. I will not do the same to Mavs fans, instead I feel their pain,and hope the best for them. (But i still don't ever want them to win a title!) Now the Jazz on there hand are just a team i will ALWAYS hate.
Sir Jackie,why don't you admit that Dirk is responsible for losing too? He is not a tough guy,takes too many outside shots and can get bullied around by good defense. Heck,even the GSW who were an average defensive ball club scared him. Edit:It will be a lot of fun to see Ron Artest force Josh Howard to take to the "hills",don't you think?
Had Dirk not choked in the finals, he would have had a ring. Howard is a semi-nutcase, Dampier is overrated, Terry has bad handles but Dirk has to share the blame too. There have been a number of playoff games where he just disappeared when needed, especially for a star player. I don't feel sorry for the flopper extraordinare. Oh yeah, as for Josh Howard....... Keep it up!!!! and stay with Dirk!
