Not sure what to think about this. Seems like they are looking for someone/anyone to blame except for the guy that got plastered and got behind the wheel.
Ah! The American legal system at work. Actually, I can see the restaurant. You're not supposed to serve dunk people and they had to do it a lot to get his BAC that high. But the driver of the stalled vehicle? Jeez, dude!
Don't forget the same guy who was DNP a few days earlier for being hungover. Any non-athlete would have been fired. It's hard to be sympathetic for the Hancock family. I can understand suing the restaurant, but the tow truck driver and stranded motorist? You've got to be kidding me. You know why I bet they're not suing the Cardinals...the Cardinals are paying them $$$$.
If he came into the resturant drunk and he was served....the resturant is screwed. If he didn't come into the resturant drunk and they got him drunk and didn't enforce the fourth drink check....the resturant is still screwed.

I have heard some shameful things in my time, but this one is right near the top. We better be careful that Hancock's dad doesn't find out about what we are saying about him and his family or he might sue us, too, LOL!
I heard he's also suing every guy who hit a HR off him, obivoulsy it made him drunk with depression over getting hit.
Honestly, he should sue the cell phone manufacturer and the store that sold it to his son and the girl on the other line. Oh, and he should sue the rental car place that gave his son the SUV without death protection. If he wants to find the best person, he should sue himself for being a negligent parent.
This has nothing to do with money. This has everything to do with blaming everyone but your son for his death.
