If he really gets his shot down the Rockets could be in dynasty mode soon with Green and A-Train added to KPJ and CW. He has the D skills and transition game. We haven't seen Garubu yet. Martin and Tate will be solid minutes on the roster too. Picks still to come once Nets lose Harden in 2 years those will be solid picks. Future has never looked better. After all those season Le$ refused to rebuild and we suffered at 42-40 this is refreshing.

He needs lots of reps but damn if he doesn’t have a ton of potential.

he can already create his own shot and is gifted athletically

He looked great - better than I expected, that's for sure!

Needs reps on his shot, but a lot of other things are "right" for him

The crowed was sooo pissed off when he went for a layup instead of lobbing it up to Green lol I was pretty off on JC after the first game because, let's face it, the tunnel vision is real bad. But today he won me over and then some. The guy is just a straight hooper. He plays so hard on both ends all game long. I'm hoping that this is just a case of him trying to audition for a spot in the regular rotation through summer league and hopefully when the games really do matter, he can bring that same energy while showing a bit more control and discretion.

I went from I hope this kid can play

to alright alright he look ok

to maybe he's got a shot to end up being the best player of our draft pool

a lot still has to be developed for him to get there but he's really young. I'm not ready to pigeon hole him as a nice role player. As others have mentioned, he's got a lot of stuff you can't teach and already he's showing more chemistry with the cream dream.

I am hoping the Rockets are so young that they will have one more losing season in them. If they can nab one more starter in the next draft to push Tate or Porter perhaps or replace Wood with a with a top PF/C I will be happy boy.

2023 his 46 million deal is up. The big 3 all have to be resigned. They all be older, slower, more injury prone. If they win it all this season that is the Nets best chance. If they don't I could see the wheels coming off with blame even sooner. Ultimately Harden will go to LA. He is a Cali guy. He'll get what he wants.

If the Rockets went on to win back to back championships with Green as a top 2 player of the team he would still have a negative slant. He has dug his heels in and if still on the board will be posting about it for years and years lol

Didn't like the pick, but has definitely impressed so far.

He reminds me of someone, but I can't quite place who it is.

I was pissed at that play too lol.

JC plays like he’s the number 1 guy.

    I like that about him.

I just hope him and Green can play better together.

The fit on the court is off to me.

It's important to do that, so he can improve his jump shot.

Yea I take back what I said about sending him down.

He just needs film, he has potential as a playmaker.

I think he can get the tunnel vision out of his game with reps.

Edit: I forgot we’re loaded with guards.
    Too much Kool-aid lol

Also have to remember that the game is going at probably a million miles per hour for him right now. While some guards are born with divine court vision and passing sense, for many it's the accumulation of experience in addition to just settling down. For now, we know he has the ability to make reads and perform at a fairly high level.
