Jose Mesa (closer for the pirates) had a kid when he was 7!!

    Jose Ramon Mesa...Wife's name is Mirla...Has six children; sons Ralph (6/29/79), Juan Jose (8/4/85), Jesse (8/17/88) and Jose Jr. (8/13/93) and daughters Yamely (1/15/74) and Yenny (7/16/87)...

    got this from his player bio on the pirates web page...yamely was born in 74 which meant Jose was 7...ralph was born in 79 which means Jose would have just turned 13 when he fathered his second child.......dayum.....:eek:

    (im sure its a typo, but creepy to think of nonetheless.)

    From your post, it says that his daughter was born in 74 meaning he would have been 7 when she was born. Just a hunch but I think your dates are wrong.

    im sure they are.....i dont think its possible to have a kid at the 7 yrs old.....i just got it from the pirates webpage and thought id share. i thought it was creepy.
