Damn, $9m/year? I guess Lakers do take care of their players. Lol.

    Hill is underrated.

D'Antoni hated him, but when he plays 30 minutes or more he's a 17/11 guy.

He must've been inebriated. With all due respect to JHill, I think other similar players that provide much of what he does can still be had for less money.
I don't have names OTOMH but I gotta check.

This is proof the Lakers have thrown in the towel for Kobe's last 2 seasons and are targeting 2016.

On a nightly basis over a long season ain't no way. Stay away from Kool-Aid.

Would've been a nice option for us at backup 5, but not for that kind of money.

    Kool Aid?

He averaged around 27 minutes the last 15 games of the year and was averaging around 16/10. He's an efficient player too and fairly good free throw shooter for a big man.

Just saying the guy is underrated, he'll be given the chance this year I bet he surprises some people.

Thank you, I would have been really depressed if he was our big off season acquisition. My word, that would have been super disappointing.

There are lots of guys who can play in spurts of 10-15 games but don't have the mental endurance to keep it up much longer than that. Jordan Hill is one of those guys IMO. His motor turns off too often.

If he does better, good for him. Doubt it.

Surely, surely, surely the second year is either a team option or non-guaranteed or at least only partially guaranteed.
