im noticing a trend with our young players, they arent good enough to get minutes here and end up being contributors when they leave.

Would have been nice to have him with both of the Rockets centers b****ing out down the season.

This is just the Kobe effect. It wouldnt be the first time a Laker elevated their play, with Kobe riding their ass, and then dropped it the moment they left LA.

I always thought Hill was a good player when he wasn't forced to play center as he was often here.

One thing he really and always does consistently well is rebound.

Can't really say that he shouldn't have been traded though, I can understand why they did.

That ain't the Kobe effect. It's the Fakers effect, where the refs and league give you all the calls and respect. If our players were switched all around our averages would go up through the roof.

Alot players seem like that here lately don't they. Hell, some posters here already think we'll be sending our prospective rookies to the D-League or be reserved to the bench.

Because Morey controls who gets how many minutes and who is in the rotation and what the lineups are.

Well, whatever it was, it didn't work on the Rockets. ;)

He is definitely a better rebounder than Patterson. I guess they went with the more clean-cut guy.

Hill's inconsistent though, at times he'll play like this and at times he'll play like trash....when he does the Lakers actually have other options like Mcroberts and Murphy who all bring something a little different.

Playing off Kobe and Gasol makes it easier on him. Also, it's irritating watching him play with more energy than i saw in his entire Rocket career.

Right, I'm sure you weren't part of the overwhelming majority that disliked Hill.

And the 5s "b****ing out" or whatever is on McHale. Camby has been nothing but determination for this team.
