Not much 'substance' to the whole thing, but it was pretty darn funny JB talked about the fact that JVG doesn't trust he's completely healthy and can come back now, JB said that he has to "prove to coach" that he's healthy enough to play, said he only had one full practice with the team since being cleared to play/practice. About the Stro suspension, he said that Stro and JVG understand it's nothing personal and just rules that Van Gundy applies to everyone, and that Stro was OK with it and he didn't hold any grudge against JVG or vice versa, as was evident by the fact that Stro was inserted right off the bench and didn't lose his rotation spot or anything like that. Other than that, the whole show was pretty much making fun of JVG, they had "JVG on Mobile" (it's basically this guy who sounds exactly like JVG and talks exactly like him). They had a skit about JVG's "inner thoughts", where they would play this audio clip of one of of his post-game 'rants', and JVG on Mobile basically rant through the whole roster and made fun of everyone and everything, it was hilarious! If Chance has a clip of that, it would be worth listening to.
If that "inner thoughts" clip is the same one that the morning show played a week or two back we HAVE to get that posted. It was hilarious and almost made me wreck my jeep from laughing so hard....LOL Somebody please come up with the recording...
JB is hilarious, it's by far my favorite radio segment of the week, he's usually on every Monday in the 9 o'clock hour (early in the hour), and usually stays on for at least half an hour if not more. I wish SR610 would do "JVG on Mobile" more often, it's by FAR the funniest thing they have.
