LOL Did ya'll hear the pregame talks where Calvin and Bill were poking (no pun intended) fun at Barkley? hehe. Then did you see the TNT after Knicks game? They showed an old clip of Charles Barkley w/ the 76ers and the whole team singing a Christmas Carol. Then they said Charles should go on a diet so that he can look like that again. Then he says that not during holidays, you cant lose weight during holidays. Overall, Charles is doing a good job at TNT in my opinion. Kenny, Eddie and him keep the show fresh and entertaining. Yeah, Calvin and Bill are the best of the regional announcers I've heard. They're opinionated, but at least their ideas don't come out of thin air. They're playful and complementary to players without appearing servile-which alot of the regional commentators seem to be. So yeah, we're lucky . ------------------ Shandon Anderson rocks. Hey, Calvin Murphy is tight. Him and Bill were mentioned by NBAtalk or something like that to be one of the league's best commentating duos. Yes Calvin does say stupid stuff a whole lot, but that makes the game entertaining. Would you rather have some old dude just saying the same old thing without any excitement at all? I've seen camel races in the middle east, not that Im from there, but there slow animals and Calvin was simply implying that Shandon Anderson is very fast. They are far and away the best announcers in the league.Calvin is hilarious in his suits and when he just starts breaking out singing and eating cookies during the game Anybody else hear Worrell sometimes cuss at his assistants as they go into commercial? I really like Bill and Calvin. Even though they can get old, etc., they have energy and enthusiasm. Gene Peterson is also really good.
