I've seen this... disturbing, in a brilliant way. The song takes on a whole other meaning when sung by someone older and (unfortunately) getting closer to the end of his career. I also had that "goodbye" feeling about it... weird. He does look old these days... wish it didn't have to happen...
First time I saw it, VH1 was on in the background and they interrupted whatever show was on to show it. I thought that was wierd, and after watching it thought that he had passed on. Definately has that wierd vibe. One of the best covers I've ever heard though.
This is my favorite NIN song... It's very weird seeing this song performed by someone who's end is near...very strange and sad to see...

I used to live in Nashville many years ago. One of his daughters used to work in the place I got my haircut. One day I was in and he was there getting his hair colored by her. It was a pretty funny scene. He was walking around with a black cape on, drinking coffee with a shower cap on his head.
