    lol I wouldn't mind that, but I don't want to sit through a miserable season where we get that high of a pick :(

    It's possible that a team that just drafted a ton of PGs... like Minnesota... gets the highest draft pick.

    In which case we don't need to tank, we need to deal to get him. If we are in the lottery then that's one more bargaining chip that Morey has to get higher up the draft and get who he wants.

    It's more difficult to buy or trade your way higher into the first round when you don't have any picks at all in the first round.

    Plus none of us want to watch a season of tanking. I'd rather see us compete and get the last spot in the playoffs and 17th in the draft than tank.
