I remember back in the day, back in the early 90s, he was wearing his little Houston Oilers gear, and his Rockets gear. Now he's in his Jets gear. Anyhoo, this MTV VMA is crap. The show looks like crap. That girl on the left of Eve Looks hot.
i have to say...this show is a total trainwreck. i thought silverman bombed the opening, the crowd is asleep, the presentation is awful and it cannot really get any worse than it is right now. and for being really 'edgy'; the most ridiculous thing ive ever seen is the fact that they bleeped out the word 'sore' from akon's 'smack that'. this is officially the most horrible thing ive ever seen on tv. im going back to the cowboys-giants game (dont know why i ever switched)
This is easily the worse MTV VMA of all time. the only redeeming thing was when Justin Timberlake said I challenge MTV to play more videos. Like that is going to happen. They play old **** from VH1
I can't stop watching this, it's like a trainwreck in slow motion. I already knew the Britney Spears thing was going to be a disaster, it's still funny though. The whole thing about them performing in sweets in the hotel, I thought, ok, cool, there will be a concerts going on all night and at certain points they would check in for a whole song but instead it's been flashes of mostly crap except for Kanye, and I don't even like him or hip hop that much. When they said this show wasn't going to be rerun, it was a total blessing. Somepeople are going to get fired over this. Oh, and I don't like Justin Timberlake, but I'm glad he called MTV out on not playing any music videos.
Brittney's performance hardly resembled someone trying to make a comeback...so uninspired...so lethargic. Sarah Silverman looked she came onto the stage with no material watsoever...like she was just making it up as she went along...too many dead spots. The animations during the presentations are horrendous and nauseating...can't tell what's going on. The private parties seemed like it could be a good idea, but it's being executed poorly...they're not even staying for whole songs...just cutting in an out. Now the question is how much worse can this get?
Kurt Loder was in the audience. But John Norris a.k.a Kevin Bacon looks ridiculous. I guess in order to keep his job he has to keep up with todays "fashion" if thats what you call it. Sucks for him but oh well.
