Now, I don't really care about this, but surely some of his 'base' might.

I do find this interesting though in light of his crusades against betting on college sports.

Actually if he has a gambling problem that IS a personal issue of merit in the campaign.

    This is no big deal.

You know that John Kennedy was a frequent Vegas vistor too and was seen with Sinatra and the Rat Pack. Oh, he wasn't just there to listen to the music and play slots.

    Uh...bad example.

Kennedy and his brother and his love interest were all murdered under suspicious circumstances. If Kennedy wasn't so beloved and was a president AFTER the gloves came off instead of before, I suspect that he would be one of the dirtier presidents in history.

I was at Bellagio a few years ago and actually played a little craps at a table with McCain...

all I recall is that basically I was even on his roll...and surprised he was playing at the min table (which was still like 10 or 15). Oddly, this was the same weekend that Reagan's funeral was, so I was surprised he wasn't already in DC.

Not sure why gambling in Vegas is an issue.

Pretty much no one in the thread had an issue with it (including OP). Good to know we are all in agreement!

Did he set the dice or does he shake it?

if he's a dice setter, than I'll be impressed.

    Very basso-esque thread title.

Hardly shocking news though...old people love gambling. It's science.

Craps has the best odds of all the table games.
