    HAVLICEK ON...

    YAO MING:

'An extraordinary player who will improve every year. If Houston Rockets can bring in a couple of hardworking players, they will be championship contenders with Yao around.'

    MICHAEL JORDAN:

'He was the only player whom I could find no weakness. Many call him the greatest player, and I cannot argue with that.'

    KEVIN GARNETT

'He can defend any position - guard, forward or centre. I like his versatility.'

    SHAQUILLE O'NEAL AND KOBE BRYANT

'Best twosome I've seen. If they are healthy by the time they reach the play-offs, they will be unstoppable.'

John Havlicek is one of the best players in NBA history, an instrumental part in the Celtics run with Bill Russell.

Of course, that does nothing to speak towards his ability to judge talent - after all Elgin Baylor is one of the best players in NBA history too . . .

Ok, for one thing, your spelling needs a little work.

For another, Havlicek, a 13-time All-Star, won eight NBA titles with the Celtics.

    Havlicek Honors:

    Honors: Elected to Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame (1984); NBA champion (1963, '64, '65, '66, '68, '69, '74, '76); NBA Finals MVP (1974); All-NBA First Team (1971-74); All-NBA Second Team (1964, '66, '68, '69, '70, '75, '76); All-Defensive First Team (1972-76); All-Defensive Second Team (1969-71); 13-time All-Star; One of 50 Greatest Players in NBA History (1996).

If Havlicek is so good, how come I never hear about him? Bill Russel is always the name mentioned with the 9 Celtics rings.

Havlicek came off the bench because that team was so deep, but was always there at the end - then his career lasted nearly a decade longer than The Dynasty, until the Cowens teams in the mid-70's. And because Bill Russell and Bob Cousy were really, really, really good - it's only natural their names come first(and K.C. Jones, because of his relationship with Russell).

"Because the world is addicted to the drama, only attracted to things that'll bring ya trauma.
Wrong information always shown by the media, Negative images is the main criteria"

YOu've been infected by the evil nBA media department that makes a few people stars and everyone else grasses. There are so many good/great players in those celtic teams.

I bet Monique was just being sarcastic. He/she must know who Havlicek is. It was just an attempt to yank your tails....methinks.
