http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/front/6182421.html I think its good for him to get on the basketball court, he needs to shake off the injuries and get back with the team
it not on the head line but talks about both doresy and ron http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=159785
yea, but Dorsey being D-leauged is kind of a big deal, I was hopin he would get some actual playing time, I'd like to give him a shot over Deke, but obviously the coaches/Morey haven't seen enough in practice....I think a trade announcement or Deke signing is gonna happen in a few days....almost seems ineveitable now. hey, I'm not good at trade machines but is there anyway the rockets could pick up Jeff Foster from Indiana? anyone who could post reasons why/why not would be great.
I think Dorsey is a promising kid for the future, I just dont think there was anyway of him cracking the lineup. Plus, the fact that he's been injured has plagued him during the regular season. I think he just needs to get on the court, dominate some of these kids in the D-League, maybe get some confidence back in his step and contribute to the squad. You never know what can happen during the course of the season regarding injuries, we might need him to step up later on in the season.
i wanna see wat kind of numbers hes gonna put up... i might also catch a few games because they are free to watch online...hopefuly he will show some of his offense which is something ive been wanting to see i still remember him putin up 20 in summer league
they said only a few of games..i doubt that. just when i thought i was gonna see him play more.. they rockets have broke my heart 3 times this week. francis traded ron not playing dorsey to d-league i guess this is a merry christmas and a happy new year. what other surprises do they have coming..
Perhaps the Rockets are show-casing Joey for a possible trade. Why send him down for just a few games, its not like they have been using him. Maybe he will be bundled with Luther Head in a trade, or maybe I’m just paranoid.
Showcasing Dorsey can't take place if he going to the D-League. Nor does sending him clear a place for another player. I was hoping to see a bit more of him since he was able to get a few minutes against NJ. I feel that management wants him to get some playing time there and then bring him back just like the way they did with Brooks last year.
Logical move to give Dorsey playing time. I doubt he's on the roster next season. I doubt he has much of a future in the NBA.
Dorsey is expected to join the Vipers, currently 5-7 on the season, tonight when the team hosts the Los Angeles D-Fenders at Dodge Arena in Hidalgo, Texas. Tip off is set for 8 p.m. ET.
