I haven't heard his named mentioned much concerning the Rockets... I think he's a great player, a huge upgrade over Ariza... I wonder if Morey is considering him as a plan B or C... thoughts?

I love Chase as much as the next guy, but that comparison is very premature, at best.

Joe Johnson is a SG, Ariza is a SF.

Also, after Joe Johnson's most recent playoff performances I think there are plenty of reasons you haven't heard his name brought up on the board.

I like Joe but that Orlando series was as stinky a series that a so called "marquee" player has had in a long time along with his reaction post game three will turn a lot of people off.

Joe Johnson didn't show us much this post season, I really don't think he's a elite player. For the money I'll take Martin.

The addition of Kevin Martin pretty much eliminated most talks about acquiring Johnson, but a lot of members were talking about him last offseason and the first half of this season. However, considering his achievements in the playoffs year after year or lack thereof, I wonder how much his stock will tumble?

To be perfectly honest, if the Hawks decide to blow up the highlight factor, I'd rather go after Josh Smith than JJ.

Thing is.. Joe Johnson fits our system, because his one on one isnt as good as assumed..

But, he is not worth max money.. he is probably worth a little more than Kevin Martin

Have you seen how **** he has been with the Hawks? He chokes when it comes to important times and his own fans even booed him. He will demand a lot of money, and he is not a team player. Do not want.

I meant that he has sucked in the postseason.

Trade for Martin could be a possibility. Johnson could be a legit 2nd option.

Is not likely, but possible, another option.

i'd much rather have k-mart than johnson. k-mart's ability to draw fouls is going to be important next year.

Concentrate on getting better in the paint. JJ can pass better than Martin but, he has been disappointing in the playoffs and this time it wasn't due to injuries.
    Pass up on him.

Ummm.. Don't you mean we already have the WHITE Joe Johnson? Chase is white and Joe is black.. Therefore the WHITE Joe Johnson.

What i'm saying is that, yes I agree that we have a steal in Chase and he can be compared to Joe Johnson.. But, y'all are saying it wrong. Chase is White and Joe Johnson is Black, so Chase should be called the WHITE Joe Johnson because he's arguably just as good.

It would be like saying Steve Nash is the WHITE Chris Paul.. Chris Paul and Steve Nash can be compared because they are both awesome. So, Chris is black and Steve is White, therefore the WHITE Chris Paul... Durrr :p lol
