trade? Doesn't seem likely. He already got so much money from BKN, just get a buyout Joe!

Definitely worth a look if he gets bought out.

We have more pressing needs at backup PG and C, but JJ brings a ton of versatility and skills to the table. Plus, he’s been doing this for so long, I’m pretty sure he’s on the ‘coast it regular season, turn it on in the playoffs’ approach.

If bought out, I think we have a great shot via D'antoni, but I don't envision him getting much PT.

He's got so many miles on those legs we don't want him to rack up the PT. He will get spot minutes of high intensity, then back to the bench, maybe 10-15 min/game if we could get him.

Joe Johnson would be an excellent addition for the Rockets. He can still defend and after a terrible start he has turned it up a bit from the field.

Joe has made well over $200,000,000 over the last 15 years, he can probably afford to lose a couple million if he wants to leave the Jazz.

Utah seems like a prime destination for Ryno.

Where do you see he has turned it up a bit from the field?

In his last 22 games he's had 10 games where's he's missed every 3 he's taken, and 5 others where he's been below 33%. Basically he's been god awful.

His January split looks decent (35% from 3) but only because he hit 3/4 in his first January game and 2/3 in his last one. Between those games he went 4 of 21.

Joe Johnson was shooting under 30% from the floor at one point this season.

In January he got the most time he has had all year and shot 47% from the field and his TS is north of .55%.

That tells me that when he has had an opportunity to play, that he can still contribute.

He shot 35% from 3 in January when he played more often. I am not overly worried about his 3% because he has shot well from 3 for years. He has shot roughly 38% from 3 the last 5 years.

Sorry Joe, our 9 man rotation is full. Better luck elsewhere. ;)

I honestly don't think he'd crack our lineup when healthy, which is why he probably looks elsewhere, despite the MDA connection.

He shot 35% from 3 in January because of 2 good games. The rest were abysmal.

I'm not saying it means anything one way or another. I think it's clear as mud right now what he has in the tank but I'm definitely willing to try.

He shot +45% from the floor in January, by far his best month and I don't think it is a coincidence it is the month that he got playing time. I don't expect miracles from him (he is an older player) but I think he can contribute if given a chance.
