It isn't "happening anew" it has been an ongoing trend for more than 20 years. There is no reason to pay an American $150,000 to do the exact same work as an Indian guy is willing and able to do to the same proficiency for $20,000 per year. Tech companies love offshoring what jobs they can, and there is no reason they shouldn't. If they get the same outcome, why does the American engineer deserve the job at higher pay?
