He suffered it in the 1st half of Game 5 and didn’t play Game 6. Landale averaged 6 pts 4 rebounds in 18 minutes which is good but pretty comparable to Ayton.
Best move of the day (low bar, I know). Guarantees Sengun to be the starter now. Unless Udoka just hates the city of Houston. Who knows
He is 6’11 and 255 lbs he is big, and a great effort guy but 8 million and for 4 years? No….no interior defender…..Stone nutted up after the Lopez debacle
When I checked the depth chart on ESPN NBA for the Rockets this season, Landale was almost always listed as already being on the team.. strange I know..
i saw this dude give KD the business in the playoffs once. I actually dont remember But i remember him checking in and doing something to somebody. also only the first year is guaranteed. i would still rather destiny be a rocket Im not going to lie, i like the team as constructed. rockets still have the young core. This money would matter if all te children were in their mid 20's
One thing that never changes are the knee jerk reactions. I think we can agree that: we simply have too many young players to be competitive We are in desperate need of leaders in the Locker room To be competitive we need a team that is committed to playing defense I think Stone is shifting pieces in order to address the above and I am going to hold my judgement until all the moves are made and I see what the results are.
Aussie big men usually work out in the NBA: Luc Longley, Bogut, Rockets Legend David Andersen… French big men OTOH are mostly misses People, we got three players who play HARD. I am content with our FA season. Shows they mean business in resetting the culture. The lollygagging will probably be no longer tolerated. Serious business from now on.
I don’t post much but I love this move and may be biased being Aussie. Cheap contract for what he can do. He’s sort of in that Hartenstein mould who we got rid of where he could be one of the best backup center’s in the league and can cover starter minutes if ever needed.
