I'm trying to land a Human Resources job with any hospital in the Sugar Land area or Medical Center. Preferably Methodist Hospital in Sugar Land, but I won't be picky. I just graduated from UH main campus with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing and Management. The management courses I took all emphasized Human Resources. I check for positions on major houston hospitals' website daily, but only few HR positions are available. I need some advice... Should I visit each hospital personally to see if their job postings online are still accurate? Does anyone know what it takes to land an interview for an HR position in hospitals? Thanks in advance
Back in the day when i graduated from business school I would go to MD Anderson. Nothing amounted for me from it but they have a job board that gets updated frequently and people were swarming around it like it had money on it. Hospital jobs are supposed to be great but they are hard to land without experience.
I get a lot of HR job opportunities from TAMU in the mail. Never have I seen one from a hospital. Probably requires a sexy graduate degree and experience.
