I understand Noah is a hard nose player, and play all balls out. However, his offense is limited, and is maybe on par with Ben Wallace during his defensive player of the years. But I don't see how the Bulls have him as untouchable? Maybe I don't watch the Bulls enough to see what he brings to the table, but what is it about him?

From the games I've watched him play, he's definetely a better offensive player than Wallace. He has a decent mid-range jump shot, can finish at the rim, but needs to work on his post moves.

JK is a stand up guy sorta like chuck hayes with a better offense but I also don't see how he can be untouchable.

true, I meant he's on par with Ben Wallace as on defense. He does have better offense, but he's still pretty raw and limited I think. I can't see him gaining post up moves

Wallace was also a better defensive player, Bulls are out of their minds.

It seems like Denver is stalling these recent trade talks because they want one Mr. Noah.

Same old Bulls. Too scared to make the trade to become contenders because they value their young guys way too much. Noah's gonna end up like Chandler and they're gonna regret not making the trade.

The reason he's considered untouchable is because the Bulls have no alternative to him. He also fits their team very well.

Noah is getting more love now than he deserves. This is his one time to cash in and he'll never get another chance like this IMO. If he doesn't accept whatever the Bulls finally offer, I think he will regret it.

Noah certainly shouldn't be untouchable but it is VERY hard to find centers at his level even at his young age. Dude's offense is miles better then Wallace and Hayes and could be equal defensively. The dude gets a bad rap because he can be a little B#$#h at times but he is ultra-valuable on ANY team he joins.

Really? I'm amazed at the stance you have taken on Morey now. We didnt get Melo and now Morey is basically trash in your eyes. Also see that you think because he didn't get 'Melo he didn't try. Hah, smh but each to their own. So tell me, who has Morey called out as untouchable on this team, particularly the young guys. Which young guys did he say were untouchable?

    Hill?
    Budinger?
    Brooks?
    Patterson?
    Lee?

Which one of those is untouchable or did Morey say was untouchable? Again, just because we didnt get a certain guy(recently Bosh, now Carmelo), that doesn't mean Morey and co. sat on their hands or were twiddling their thumbs.

When evaluating a player's skillset you don't just look at the player in a vacuum, you also take into account how hard it will be to find someone of a similar caliber.

Joakim Noah is an extremely rare player in today's league, its hard to find someone who is:

    1. Young
    2. 7 footer (in shoes)
    3. defensive presence
    4. Rebounding machine
    5. Not a zero offensively

If they trade Noah for Carmelo Antohy who will they get to replace him? Guys like Noah don't grow on trees, you'd have to be a top lottery team to get a player like him again. Of course if they have Rose, Boozer and Melo that's not likely to happen, so the Bulls will just end up dooming their team in the long run.

wow did we already forget how good ben wallace was?

in his peak he was as good if not better than D. Howard is (defensively and rebound wise)

I think Noah's big personality has caused him to be overrated

Noah right now is nowhere near Ben Wallace at his peak...let's not forget that Wallace was able to hold his own against prime Shaq for a while. However Noah is better offensively than Ben Wallace ever was. So if you think DH can be the watered-down Shaq then Noah can be the watered-down Wallace.
