Not me. Luther has his problems, but he's proven himself capable of playing decent ball with a few bright moments tossed in against every team except the Jazz. The fact that they've been our first-round opponents has made Luther a pariah around ClutchFans, but against everyone else, he plays pretty well for an 8th or 9th roster spot guy. Redick, on the other hand, has proven only that he can help sell DVDs of basketball lessons.
Haha, what do you mean LAST year, it'll be like this THIS year too. And if he retires, it'll morph into an Horry-situation (if he actually retired)
Excluding Bo Outlaw, Redick had the worst +/- of any Magic in 2007-08 with a negative Roland Rating. To put the one-dimensional aspect of Redick into even clearer focus, his +/- of negative 7.8 was comparable to Steve Novak's negative 9.5. Redick barely belongs in the NBA and every day he's not in a Houston uniform is a good day.
Why? The guy is completely worthless. I wouldn't even trade Luther for him (and that's saying a lot).
Never is a long time....get JJ away from the offensively challenged Van Gundy brothers and you will see his value. DD
Stan Van Gundy is hardly offensively challenged. He tends to get the best out of his players on the offensive side of the ball. He said he'd give Redick a fair shot and he did. It's just that Redick's defense is apparently so awful that he's not worth putting on the court.
