Boki had not been happy with his playing for a long time now. He asked for a trade before the move to the injured list. He expected to go to Atlanta but he knew he was going somewhere. Good luck to him. He is a very good guy!

this sucks! why did we have to give JJ + Boki for Wesley? He's not that great! JJ for Wesley would have worked out fine and we could've packaged Boki with some other player

    great call Sam

I am really not sure we lose anything at all defensively in this trade

Wesley and Jackson may have similar shooting numbers, but i think there is a difference, Wesley has always been known as an outside shooter and defender always give him close attention, JJ on the other hand is a player that in recent year gets so many wide wide i repeat wide open shots, in fact I am not sure there is player this year who starts at the 2 or 3 and plays 40 minutes a game who get so little respect shown to them for their outside shot.......compare this to Wesley and this why i don't at all mind this trade

opposition defenses now have to make a choice, either they leave Wesley as open as they did JJ and then i suspect he will punish them better or they won't be able to sag and double on TMac and Yao as much

btw I can't believe people are going nuts about the SF spot, we have Tracey McGrady playing over 40 minutes a night at the SF spot, i presume you guys have heard of him, he's a top 5 player in the league and if there was still some confusion about whether he is a 2 or 3, JVG has said many a time 2s and 3s are the same in his offense..... btw you guys have checked out our PF spot right before being such worry worts about our SF spot........

PS i really hope Boki gets some playing and prove both JVG and Rudy wrong

I actually am in the minority I guess in that I like the trade. We need players that can shoot. It's not all about the paper stats like height, and Wesley gets a good number of steals.

Also, how is losing Boki getting older? Please multiple the age times the minutes played. Boki was getting no time, so it doesn't really affect the age of the team on the court, just in the box score - DNP.

The ONLY thing that matters now is that the Rockets trade for a power forward that stands up when he takes a piss.

I like the addition of David Wesley, for some reason I think he can be a better "scorer" than Jackson was. He seems like more of a threat. We need a player that will look for his shot. He seems willing to look for the three, ,and the Rockets need a player like that. Barry and Wesley in the backcourt seems interesting.

Right and, it's like CD said on 610am, It really doesn't matter how old the player is if the contract isn't too long which Wesley's isn't.

OK! That's fine. But, I don't agree. You don't have to be a superstar to ask for a trade.

    Slower?
    Offensive minded?
    Yeah, right.
Anyone could run 3 laps arround JJ before he'd notice these days...
Wesley will be great. Especially with new energy he will get, coming from 2-XX team.

Boki isnt a great player let alone a good enough player to ask CD to be traded because he feels that he should get more playing time... How did you hear about this Boki thing?

think of it this way - most of you guys have loved the trades since the summer and have done nothing but complain about the results since! Now we have a trade that you don't like, maybe it will end up being a good one.

JJ was a role player with a superstar ego. Some ill timed shots and bone headed turnovers. We get basically the same production from Wesley who will know his role better and cut out some errors.

bye Boki - we hardly knew ya. I'll probably be seeing you back here in Europe next season anyway.

Before we get on that topic... I mentioned this before the trade. I am not an insider... I'm not trying to act like one.
