I can see why some of the board posters want to see Jiri in a Rockets uni. He's definitely got game, good defense, good passer, good shooter. I think he'd fit in real well here but I doubt if Boston would be willing to trade him.

    lol, I don't know.

I think he just had one of those games like players that typically come out of no where against us usually do.

No, people are excited about Welsch for a reason. I certainly wouldn't mind having him on the Rox. I'd like to acquire Mihm from the Celtics actually. Good young roleplayer PF/C and from Texas.

Mihm gave Cato a little bit of trouble tonight. He got low on us several times.

It took him awhile to get adjusted to the Celtics offense, but Jiri Welsch's play tonight against the Rox was no accident. The C's have him locked up until at least 2005-06.

I thought Cato was supposed to be tough and Mihm soft? It didn't look that way tonight.

I am becoming a pretty big Mihm fan. During time he can stay on the court (out of foul trouble) he impresses. All that said, he was camped in the 3-second lane too often without a call (surprise) tonite.

Welsch got a chance to play this season, and he showed how good he can be. Now if we just give Nachbar a chance.

He already got a chance and he didn't show enough to warrent playing time. When you're the leagues top defensive team, its not good business to give significant minutes to a defensive liability. I'm sure he'll get another shot at next years training camp though.

The people demand value for their first round picks. Can't disapoint the people, right?

Your argument is rendered pointless with one word, Pike.

Why is it that everytime a player has a good game against the ROckets everyone wants to get him? First it was Earl Watson, then Lopez from Utah, now Welsch. Just b/c someone has one good game doesn't mean they are the solution for this team. It's kinda funny.
