I had never seen his show.. it was on at one point and noticed kimmel entire shtick is ragging on the hispanic security guard. Found it ironic a jewish guy doing that.

The interview definitely reflects the #MeToo argument that complaints of inappropriate sexual behavior get ignored. But it's also a bit weird how it comes up in the interview. The interview is already a rather sexual one. They do a bit immediately preceding where Fox has drawn an idealized shirtless version of Kimmel and Kimmel has drawn a sort of rapacious tableau of the two of them and they make jokes. And then Fox tells this story about Bay and she doesn't really tell it in a #MeToo way. She has a tone of disapproval of Bay, but it's not really an accusation. Kimmel seems a little taken aback, but he can't really move this conversation from the sexualized banter he was just doing to a condemnation of Bay for a real impropriety. I think it's mostly a stark artifact of the pre-#MeToo era where female movie stars talk about sexual predation like it's just an inescapable fact of life you have to accept. Like watching the misogyny in Mad Men as a bit of historic realism. It could be an opportunity for Kimmel today to comment more seriously about Fox's story.

It should also be mentioned that this thread is probably the result of some opposition research that launched because Kimmel has been so critical of President Trump. Not that it is necessarily without merit, but it's some astroturf outrage.
