I heard it. It was really a pretty good interview. Sam was very forthcoming. Talking about how he knows his biggest attribute is leadership, how he didn't want to go to the Clippers but Dunleavy settled him down, let him know why they were bringing him and and what he wanted from Sam, talked about Elton Brand's season, talked about how he is constantly a coach on the floor - using Kaman as an example - Cassel is constantly coaching Kaman on the court, imploring him to be that tough, last line of defense. Sam wants to go into coaching when he retires. Assistant for a few years, but really wants to be a head coach. Aside from the fact that his press conferences would be awesome, he really sounded pretty competent in the interviewer in regards to his knowledge of the game.
Sammy, my A#1 fav ex-Rock (Dream is NOT an ex-Rock) of all time! (Altho there are some I am thrilled...are exes!
