After re-signing, he is now resigning? Is this for real or is he just trying to illustrate the difference between the two similar terms?
Frank's son, Scott, is an assistant coach with the Jazz. Wonder if Scott will take over his dad's old job.
If he was "forced" to re-sign, I would just lose the respect I had for Utah Jazz management. Not the way a HOF coach should be treated. and I don't hate him as much as so many people on this board do. 23 years on a single job, with one single team is not a simple task at all.
Supposedly some kind of meltdown happened between Sloan and their GM after the loss to the Bulls last night. But, resigning all of a sudden seems weird after he just signed an extension two days ago. I know the Jazz have been struggling, but a loss to a good team like the Bulls doesn't seem like enough of a breaking point. I hate the Jazz, but I hope Sloan stepping down isn't due to health issues or something like that. That would be sad.
