His starting five of Raul Lopez, D. Stevenson, G. Ostertag, Kirilenko and Harping will never be confused with the Showtime Lakers, but Utah is making a comeback on the mighty Lakers with this mighty lineup:

Jarron Collins, Ben Handlogten (???) Raja Bell, Maurice Williams, and A. Pavlovic!!!

The man is a basketball genius, period!

Down 15 at the half, Utah comes back to take a one point lead with 30 seconds to go. Lucky 3-pointer by D. George saves the Lakers. Utah's starters barely saw any time on the court for the second half. What a game!

Even though he was wide open, that was some lucky stab by Devean George. Jerry Sloan is an awesome coach. Utah is still doing well.

Sloan certainly is impressive. I'm sure a lot of NBA teams will go after him once his contract is up in Utah.

Phil Jackson uses the art of war technique. Never fight a battle until you have the edge: Shaq

Just like Jordan. It's no secret on how Phil wins. It's effective. But Slone is a better x and o's man.

Chicago should have stuck with Cartwright and brought Sloan back to Chicago when his Utah contract expires.

If the Jazz finish the season with a .500 record, I'd support Jerry Sloan for COY. I hate the Jazz, but no longer will I say that Sloan just rode on the coattails of Stockton and Malone. Stockton and Malone might have never had the careers they had without Jerry Sloan.

Having said that, I hope the Jazz go on a 19-game losing streak and whimper at the bottom of the Western Conference where they belong. :D

A really good coach can turn a bad team into a decent team, but that's it. To become a great team you need the players. What we know is Sloan having the best power forward and point guard of all-time on his team wasn't enough to get him a championship. Rudy T, Jackson, Popovich, Adelman, etc. all beat Sloan's teams in the playoffs. Moral of the story is it's a players' league.

Without Jordan, sloan might have got a couple rings already. Rudy gets lucky to a certain degree. MJ is the reason for so many players' underachieving, now Malone has to play almot for free because of him.

Sloan certainly deserves credit, but his players actually can play: AK47, Lopez, Arroyo... these foreign kids are good and knows how to play the right way, which leads us to the question: where the hell did they find these guys?

I don't know, but aren't you glad we traded Utah our picks for one year's salary relief?

Sloan is the Bobby Knight of the NBA. Best x's & o's in the game, as well as being the king of all jackasses.
