I'm surprised he didn't pick someone with the Utah Jazz. Maybe Frank Layden, but I don't know where he's at physically.
I was surprised by the choice, but as always, Barkley will stir up the crowd with his honesty and foul mouth. Sir Charles will have a couple of humorous stories, and it will be a very light-hearted, entertaining speech. Maybe he'll have a few drinks in him, which will make it that much more enjoyable to watch.
Sloan must not really give that much importance to this then. Why would anyone want a person with horrible grammar to introduce him?
