There was a rumor in a Toronto newspaper today that had Antonio Davis, Doug Christie and draft picks going to Detroit for Jerry Stackhouse, Lindsey Hunter, and Jerome Williams. Since it seems that Williams is expendable in Detroit what would it take for the Rockets to pry him away from Motown. He would undoubtedly be a perfect fit in a Rockets uniform and he is a rebounding machine.

That's interesting. Since Detroit will have some cap room, I would think it would be in their best interest to get even more under the cap. We have our trade exception. Would they willing to do some deal getting a little less in return for Jerome so that they might have a little more money to spend on a free agent?

Yeah, I agree. That seems like an amazingly lopsided trade. 2 aging veterans for 1 allstar, one up and coming PF and a badly needed PG (well, for Toronto anyway)-And all young. There has to be more to it.

That will be hard to do crisco. But Jordan does want to dump Howard and that unbelievable salary. I wonder if Jordan would want Stackhouse.

Guys I think Houston's main weakness is the small forward defensively. Guys like Lamar Odom 6'10, KG 6'11 and Shareef Abdur-Rahim 6'9 run circles around us. Getting a good defensive player there would be great. Shandon really can't cover these tall trees. Bullard is too slow, Walt is more a offensive player and unless Dan Langhi 6'10 can play D I don't see any help there right now. Just my opinion.

If the Rockets sign Jerome Williams and then draft Terrence Morris next year they could have a DC reunion.

For those who don't know...Jerome Williams is the cousin of Comet center Tammy Jackson.

Wow I didnt know that Outlaw. Thats cool.

Jerome Williams is one of the most underrated players in basketball. This guy is a rebounding freak, he gives all he has every night. I know francis would love to have him here since they are such good buddys. I would love to work out a deal for jerome williams.

I would love Williams on this team. Bo Outlaw, Theo Ratliff, or Jerome Williams. Sounds good to me.
