You know the kid will be looking at that. There's nothing like being praised by Clyde Drexler for a dunk... he's the master!
Who is #5 with the LAZY "oh, i didn't go for that 'cuz i had my man" or "oh, i didn't contest that because i had something in my eye" defense?
^^^^ awesome post swoly. I was thinking the same thing while replaying it over and over. "He's looking to attack the rim first, shoot second." I've been waiting for so long for the Rockets to have a guy like that. Hopefully, JT can keep developing and work his way into the regular rotation so we can see highlights like that on a nightly basis.
Craig Smith facepalmed so hard after the humiliation of that dunk that he went on to torch our asses good. So good job in lighting that fire JT.
Craig Smith was embarassed. LOL The dunk was very sneaky, though. Taylor was just walking the ball in so slow, then he exploded to the rim with so much power.
What makes the dunk so amazing is that he hesitated to drive and looked as if he was planning to pull up or dish. He never even picked up a head of steam and still took off easily from three feet outside the restricted area. I still think this kid can be something special given the opportunity (if he works hard this summer). He's super athletic but more importantly, very good at finishing around the rim after contact.
