Is he looking to resign with Miami? Would look good as our backup C if he would take MLE. How much is he worth?

Given his age, and his amazing chokejob in the playoffs (A horrifically bad 2.8 PER), there is no way I'm giving him the MLE.

His skills have eroded due to injuries and father time. No longer hit the 15 footer like he did when he was in Indiana. The hook shot that was part of his arsenal is nonexistent now. No legs to get up and rebound and block shots anymore.

I think it's going to be an LLE offer to O'Neal because there should be no reason why he could command the MLE.

Don't know where, but JO shouldn't get much more guaranteed than the vet minimum. Maybe he can warm the bench of a good team and try to cheerlead his way to a championship.

He might can do a Rasheed Wallace/Antonio McDyess type role. 15-20 minutes a game with some spot starts here and there. Not worth MLE money since 1 is retired now, and the other probably could retire before his deal is done.

Hard to believe it will be his 15TH season.

JO makes Shaq look spry. You don't want that guy for anything more than a deep reserve in case of an emergency.

He worked with Tim Grover last summer.

This year, he and TMac will work with Tim Grover again and all 3 of them will return to ELITE STATUS!

I think players like him and McGrady are going to wait and see how it all shakes down and just latch onto whatever superteam emerges from this FA period for the minimum
